The story
Vantace was created by club tennis, pickleball and padel player Simon McInnes, who wanted more matches and less admin.
The idea came from seeing good club ladders lose momentum because arranging matches, contacting other players and keeping the ladders active is too hard.
The ladder problem
Most ladders do not fail because players stop caring. They fail because the system around them is too hard to maintain.
Players need a simple way to know who to play, how to contact them, what challenges are live, and what happens after a result.
Built from club sport experience
Vantace is shaped by the reality of amateur club sport: volunteers are busy, players have different availability, and competition needs to feel fair without becoming heavy.
The goal is not to replace the social side of clubs. It is to remove the friction that stops members playing more often.
